Founded in 1986 under the name SearchWorks, the Strategic Resource Group is a recruiting firm specializing in career advancement services for information technology professionals.
Our organization takes a consulting approach to understand an individual’s qualifications, lifestyle issues and career goals. We work closely with technical hiring managers and HR professionals to understand job descriptions, performance expectations and the corporate culture. Working closely with both clients and applicants, we formulate a strategy to match candidates with the best opportunity for their career and the best match for the company.
Our associates are trained not only in process and technology, but in consulting services and solutions. Our focus parallels that of an engineer — we cannot provide a solution until we thoroughly understand the problem.
SRG recruiters also have “Account Management” responsibilities and represent a variety of client companies. Each SRG consultant works one on one with clients to effectively match candidate with career opportunity. SRG does not advertise and maintains a low profile, choosing instead to work mostly through personal referrals of unique candidates for unique opportunities— making our standards, ethics and confidential approach critical to our future revenue.
We define our success by how well we represent each and every SRG Candidate and Client for the long term.
SRG offers Executive and Technical Recruiting services for full-time permanent positions. We tackle individual technical contributor roles thru to Executive Management roles –including Director Engineering, CIO and CTO roles. SRG offers both contingent and retained search capabilities to our client companies and work in the strictest of confidence with our clients and candidates.
SRG also provides strategic services to both Employer’s and Job Seeker’s, or candidates. SRG’s Advisory Services are built on decades of experience and insight into recruiting and the alignment of people as an organization’s key resources.
SRG recruiters are a diverse set of individuals that together make up a recruiting team with decades of experience in the local DC/Baltimore Metro area’s technology landscape.
